Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasakis Cianciarulo Looks To Extend Win-Streak In Home State Race

CORONA, Calif. (June 19, 2019) – The Pro Motocross series will make its first-ever trip to WW Ranch Motocross Park this weekend outside Jacksonville and the Floridian Adam Cianciarulo is looking to impress in front of his hometown crowd. Having moved back to train for the rest of the summer to the sunshine state, Cianciarulo is hopeful his momentum and familiarity of the sandy conditions will help him grab win number five. Martin Davalos continues to make progress and has his sights set on his best finish of the year in Florida. Garrett Marchbanks will be taking the weekend off to rest after having a hard get off in High Point. He’ll be re-evaluated next week with hopes to return at Southwick.

Even though Cianciarulo has yet to secure a Moto 1 win, he’s been the one on the top step of the podium when the final checkered flag has waved the past four rounds. He’s ready to use the familiar Florida terrain to his advantage and hopes to extend his points lead even further this weekend.

“After the Denver round, I’ve been back in Florida and it’s been great to get adjusted to the east coast,” said Cianciarulo. “It’s making me really excited to be so close to home this weekend and have a motocross in my home state. The Florida fans are always so great in Daytona so I have no doubt they will be amazing this weekend. I know there will be some extra confidence being home in Florida so I’ll make sure to work on being consistent and patient when I need to be.”

Like Cianciarulo, Davalos has adjusted back to life on the east coast and is looking to make the most of his knowledge of the sandy conditions. He bounced back a bit at High Point and is ready to get his KX250 in the top 10.

“I’m really excited about the series coming to Florida,” said Davalos. “It’s an easy drive from where I live in Georgia and it’s going to be great to have friends out to see the race. Hopefully that and knowing the dirt out here in the south will help me get my best finish of the season.”

Saturday’s race from WW Ranch Motocross Park will be broadcast on MAVTV and NBC Sports starting June 22 at 1 p.m. ET. All racing can be found live using NBC Gold subscription.
