Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki Boasts Red Plate Heading to St Louis
Corona, Calif. (March 14, 2018) – Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Austin Forkner is headed to St. Louis with a shiny new red number plate adorning his Kawasaki KX250F after earning his third-straight podium finish last weekend in Daytona. Entering Round 5 in a tie for the points lead, Forkner is ready to take sole possession of it inside The Dome at America’s Center. Teammate Martin Davalos comes off another solid night but is still hungry to get his first podium of the season.

In only four rounds, Forkner has come back from a tough opening round to pull into a tie for the points lead. With that sort of determination, he is eyeing sole ownership of the lead this weekend during his first trip to St. Louis.
“Since the beginning, I’ve been focused on being consistent and getting podiums to help me stay in the title fight,” said Forkner. “I have been able to stay up front and am thankful to be in this position for my team. I’ll keep focusing on those podiums and if I can be consistent, I know that I’ll be there at the end of the season.”

Davalos continues to prove he’s fully able of running up front and challenging for the podium, but it just hasn’t worked out in his favor thus far. This weekend, Davalos is hoping he can replicate his success from 2014 when he won the race.
“I’ve had some good luck in St. Louis before and I’m hoping we can make it happen again,” said Davalos. “We’ve been working really hard to turn the speed into good finishes and it would be great to have this weekend be the start of something good.”

The Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki riders will be signing autographs at Big St. Charles Motorsports on Friday, March 16 from 6-7 p.m.
Saturday’s race from The Dome at America’s Center will be broadcast on FS1 or the FOX Sports GO app starting at 8 p.m. ET.
