Team Cobra To Take On Worlds Best Mini Cycle Racers
Cobra King 50-mounted Cianciarulo, Myers, Commans and Martin will represent America in battle of the worlds top mini cycle racers at the upcoming World Mini Trophy MX at Jamonge, Belgium, May 14-15
NORTH LIMA, Ohio, (May 3, 2005) – In an effort to showcase some incredible young motocross talent, American-made Cobra Motorcycles will jet four of its top nine-and-under 50cc racers across the Atlantic to represent the United States at the World Mini Trophy MX Championships in Jamonge, Belgium, May 14-15.
The first time ever that the dominant Cobra racers here in the States will travel as a team abroad has the American motorcycle industry buzzing.
“Weve got some kids here that deserve the experience and global recognition, so we decided to put this competition trip together to represent the United States at a race with important worldly impact,” said Sean Hilbert, President of Cobra Motorcycles. “And of course, Cobra is looking at the European market for the future, and this race will no doubt help showcase what we strongly feel are the finest mini cycles in the world.”

Though its late in the game, Cobra has offered up a affordable Gold, Silver, Bronze sponsorship opportunity to anybody wishing to back these young, American-made racers and bikes in their quest for global superiority. Once back from Europe, these Cobra racers – along with other Cobra racers from all across the nation - will be competing in the coming weeks for a qualifying spot at the AMA Air Nautiques Amateur Motocross Championships (Loretta Lynns) in August. The next big amateur national race is the NMA Ponca City Grand Nationals, July 24-30.
Cobra, founded in 1993, produces the most successful line of competition minicycles in the United States with more than 100 national titles in the last decade.
