*KAWASAKI STEPS UP WOMEN’S MOTOCROSS ASSOCIATION SPONSORSHIP*
IRVINE, Calif. (May 2, 2006) – Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. announced its role as Presenting Sponsor of the 2006 Women’s Motocross Association, Inc. (WMA) Championship. Top Team Green™ female motocross riders Elizabeth Bash, Tania Satchwell and Lindsey Scheltema will participate in the six-race Hitachi AMA/WMA National Motocross Championship which gets underway May 13, at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, Calif. Kawasaki will be involved in the WMA Nationals and will have a presence at all six races. Special Kawasaki events will include: dealer appearances by Team Green riders, motorcycle displays including the Hitachi “Inspire the Next” KX™250F, and special activities within the WMA pits. “This is our third year with Kawasaki and we are very excited to be working more closely with them this season,” said WMA President Miki Keller. “Kawasaki’s commitment to women in motorcycling matches the WMA’s.
