450SX Class: Detroit Stats
This will be the 51st time the gate will drop for a 450SX Class race in the Detroit market.

The first 450SX Class race held in the Detroit market was on March 27, 1976. Marty Smith won on a Honda.

From ''76-''05 Michigan held 450SX Class races in the Pontiac Silverdome. Since then, the race has been held at Ford Field in Detroit. This will be the fifth race held at Ford Field: ''06-''08, ''14-''15.

Chad Reed won the last-ever 450SX Class race held at the Silverdome in ''05 on a Yamaha. Reed also won the last three 450SX Class races held in the Silverdome from ''03-''05.

James Stewart won the first 450SX Class race held in Ford Field in ''06 and has won three of the four 450SX Class races held there. Davi Millsaps is the only other rider to win in Ford Field. He earned his second career 450SX Class win there in 2008.

Mike LaRocco, Ricky Carmichael, Nathan Ramsey, and Stewart have all won at Detroit in both the 250SX and 450SX Classes. Ryan Dungey and Josh Grant are riders who could join this group. Nobody has won at Ford Field in both classes but Dungey or Grant could become the first to do so.

Bob Hannah holds the record for most consecutive 450SX Class wins at a venue. Hannah earned that record in Detroit, where he won six straight races from ''77-''79. McGrath tied his record by winning Minneapolis six straight times from ''94-''99.

From ''77-''84, and ''86-''93 Detroit held back-to-back 450SX Class races. Seven of those seasons were rider sweeps, including the three straight seasons Hannah swept from ''77-''79. Donnie Hansen, David Bailey, Rick Johnson, and Damon Bradshaw are the other riders to sweep Detroit.

Hannah went on to win nine 450SX Class races in Detroit. The next closest rider is McGrath with six 450SX Class wins in Detroit, followed by Bradshaw with four. Reed and Stewart are both tied with three Detroit 450SX Class victories.

Smith is the only rider to earn his first 450SX Class victory in Detroit, which he did in ''76 on a Honda.

Before Stewart took the checkered flag last year, Suzuki had not won a 450SX Class race in Detroit since ''83.

KTM will be looking for their first-ever 450SX Class victory in Detroit.

450SX Class: Wins By Brand in Detroit (Last Win)
Honda: 19 (''08)
Yamaha: 19 (''05)
Kawasaki: 8 (''07)

450SX Class: Indianapolis Recap
Dungey earned his 19th career 450SX Class win. It was his fifth victory of the season, and for the first time in his 450SX Class career, he earned three wins in a row.

Dungey had six victories in ''10 on his way to that championship. He already has five this season.

With his victory in Indianapolis, Dungey tied Bradshaw for ninth on the 450SX Class all-time win list.

Dungey is well on his way to his second career 450SX Class championship. He is 45 points ahead of second place. A lot of riders have shown flashes of speed this season but Dungey has been consistently faster than everyone. Are the stars aligning for KTM''s first-ever 450SX Class title?

For the first time in KTM''s 450SX Class history, they have won five races in a season.

Cole Seely tied his career best 450SX Class finish with a second place. It was his third-career 450SX Class podium in his 22nd career 450SX Class start.

Rookies have still been shut out from winning a 450SX Class race this year. However they are starting to get close with Blake Baggett''s third in Daytona and Seely''s second in Indy. It will be interesting to watch who can earn their first 450SX Class win this season, or will they have to wait until next year?

Trey Canard earned his seventh podium of the season with a third place finish. He now has 20 career 450SX Class podiums.

Canard has been fast, but not to his liking. He sits in second place in the Championship points but hasn''t finished inside the top two since San Diego. With four third-place finishes in the past five races, can Canard earn his third win of the season in Detroit?

Weston Peick earned his third top-five finish of the season and tied his career-best with a fourth place finish. For the first time in his 450SX Class career, Peick has earned four straight top-ten finishes in four straight weeks.

Millsaps finished fifth in Indianapolis. It was his second top-five finish of the season and 55th career 450SX Class top-five finish.

Millsaps has improved in every race since back-to-back 20th place finishes in San Diego and Arlington. A ninth place in Daytona and now a fifth place in Indianapolis shows he may have what it takes to get on the podium.

Andrew Short finished sixth in Indianapolis for his seventh top-ten finish of the season. He also ties Stewart for 12th with 118 career 450SX Class starts.

After finishing outside of the top-ten for the first six races of the season, Grant rode to his fifth top-ten finish in the last five races with a seventh place finish. It was his second best finish of the season.

Broc Tickle finished eighth in Indianapolis. He now has eight top-ten finishes this season and six top-ten finishes in a row. He is one top-ten finish away from tying his 450SX Class record for consecutive top-ten finishes.

Reed grabbed a ninth place in Indianapolis. It was his ninth top-ten finish of the season.

Jake Weimer, making his 50th career 450SX Class start, finished 10th place in Indianapolis. It was his second top-ten finish of the season.

Jason Anderson broke his top-ten streak coming in 17th. He had been one of just two riders with a top-ten in every race this season before Indianapolis.

After having back-to-back podiums, Eli Tomac finished 11th in Indy. He is yet to have three consecutive 450SX Class podiums in his career. Can Tomac regain his early season form where he looked like a serious title contender?

250SX Class: Detroit Stats
This will be the 34th time the gate will drop for a 250SX Class race in the Detroit market.
The first 250SX Class race held in the Detroit market was on April 13, 1986. Keith Turpin won the race on a Honda.

From ''86-''05 Michigan held a 250SX Class race in the Pontiac Silverdome. Since ''06 the race has been at Detroit''s Ford Field. This will be the fifth time Ford Field will host a 250SX Class race.

Josh Hansen won the last 250SX Class race held in the Silverdome on a KTM in ''05. Josh Grant won the first-ever 250SX Class race held in Ford Field in ''06 on a Honda.

Yamaha will be looking for their first 250SX Class win in Detroit since Ivan Tedesco took the checkers in ''03.

250SX Class: Wins By Brand in Detroit (Last Win)
Honda: 9 (''06)
Suzuki: 9 (''07)
Yamaha: 8 (''03)
Kawasaki: 6 (''14)

250SX Class: Indianapolis Recap
Marvin Musquin earned his eighth career 250SX Class win in his 24th career 250SX Class start. The victory ties him with Travis Pastrana, Denny Stephenson, Turpin and Dean Wilson on the all-time 250SX Class win list.

Musquin has now won three straight 250SX Class races for the second time in his career.

Can Musquin win four in a row 250SX Class races for the first time in his career?

Justin Bogle rode to his third runner-up finish of the season. He now has 14 career 250SX Class podiums in just 22 250SX Class starts. He has only finished outside of the top ten twice in his 250SX Class career.

Can Bogle slow down Musquin''s momentum? The defending Eastern Regional 250SX Class rider has finished on the podium each race, but has yet to breakthrough for his first victory of 2015.

In his fifth career 250SX Class start, RJ Hampshire was able to pick up his first career 250SX Class podium. He has finished in the top ten in every 250SX Class race he has started in, and is just one of five Eastern Regional 250SX Class riders to earn a podium finish.

Jordon Smith earned a fourth-place finish in just his second career 250SX Class start.

Geico Honda showed a lot of talent by finishing second through fourth in Indianapolis. Can one of the other two Geico Honda riders (Hampshire and Smith) earn their first career 250SX Class victories?

Kyle Cunningham was making his 65th career 250SX Class start in Indianapolis and picked up his first top-five finish since Las Vegas of last season. He now has 12 career 250SX Class top-five finishes and 46 top-ten finishes.

Jimmy Decotis finished sixth in Indianapolis. He now has three consecutive top-ten finishes, joining Musquin, Bogle, and Hampshire as the only riders to have top-ten finishes for the last three weeks. Decotis now has 20 career 250SX Class top-ten finishes in 33 career 250SX Class starts.

Kyle Peters finished seventh in Indianapolis for his second consecutive seventh place finish. He now has three top-ten finishes on the season and nine 250SX Class top-ten finishes in his 22 career 250SX Class starts.

Colt Nichols picked up a career-best eighth-place finish in Indianapolis. It was his fourth career 250SX Class start.

Vince Friese earned his third top-ten finish of the season with a ninth. He now has 25 career 250SX Class top-ten finishes in his 45 career 250SX Class starts.

Jace Owen rode his way to a career-best 10th place finish. It was his seventh career 250SX Class start.

Jeremy Martin failed to qualify for the 250SX Class race in Indianapolis. Can he rebound to pick-up a win or two in an otherwise lost season for him?

Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki remains winless. Can Joey Savatgy break through for a victory after his night ended early in Indy?
