Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasakis Cianciarulo Ready to Keep Momentum Rolling at RedBud
CORONA, Calif. (July 3, 2019) – Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Adam Ciancairulo is ready to give the RedBud MX fans something to cheer about this Fourth of July weekend as he goes after his sixth win of the season in Buchanan, Michigan. After a great ride last weekend, Cianciarulo has his sights set on extending his points lead at Round 7. Martin Davalos looks to bounce back this weekend, while Garrett Marchbanks will continue to sit on the sidelines for another weekend with hopes to return at Spring Creek MX.
Motivation to get back on top helped Cianciarulo collect his first Moto 1 win of the season in Southwick - something he would like to repeat this weekend. It was also the first time this season that Cianciarulo grabbed two perfect starts and both holeshots. With confidence in tow, Cianciarulo is eyeing a great finish at one of the most electric races of the year.
“I love racing at RedBud and seeing all the fans,” said Cianciarulo. “The track is always tough, but I think we’re bringing in a lot of momentum. If I can get out front at the start again we’ll have a good shot at the win.”
Davalos had a tough weekend at Southwick, but is happy to have another weekend to bounce back. He’s ready to make the most of the opportunity prior to the series getting a weekend off.
“In order to keep working at a better finish, I have to keep looking ahead and not let the past get me down,” said Davalos. “RedBud is always special and I can’t wait to get there.”
The Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki riders will be signing autographs at the team semi-truck on Saturday, July 6. Head to the truck in the pits to collect a mandatory wristband for the signing, usually around 9 a.m.
Saturday’s race from the RedBud National will be broadcast on MAVTV and NBC Sports starting July 6 at 1 p.m. ET with the 250 Class running after the 450 class. All racing can be found live using NBC Gold subscription.
