JE-Sponsored Teams Show Strength in Saturdays Supercross

GLENDALE, Ariz. (January 30, 2018) –Pro Circuit Racing led the way for the JE-sponsored contingent in
Saturday night’s Monster Energy Supercross, an FIM World Championship, at University of Phoenix
Stadium where Adam Cianciarulo scored his third Western Regional 250 SX Class podium finish of the
season to bring his Kawasaki KX 250F home third at Round 4.

Cianciarulo’s Pro Circuit stablemate Joey Savatgy recovered from an ugly crash in his heat race to bring
home a solid fourth-place effort in the main event, and earn his fourth top four of the season. Despite the
spirited effort, Savatgy slipped to third in 250SX Class points, where he trails current point leader Aaron
Plessinger by a scant five-point margin.

“I feel really good this season,” offered Cianciarulo. “Honestly, better than I ever have. I just need to focus
on my starts to put me in a better position, but I’m really happy to be on the podium this week. The team
is good, the bike is good and I am looking forward to continuing the progress.”
“I’m grateful to finish the night healthy and with additional points,” added Savatgy. “I had a rough night
and it wasn’t how we wanted it to go, but mistakes happen. I have a great team behind me and we will
work on the errors and come back strong next week in Oakland.”

Meanwhile, across the 250SX Class paddock, JE-powered Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing
earned seventh and 11th-place finishes with Justin Hill and Phil Nicoletti, respectively.
“We’re looking a little bit better than in previous rounds,” said Hill. “I felt like I rode well. Unfortunately, I
made contact with another rider about a lap-and-a-half into the main event and lost my clutch for the
whole race. The silver lining is that I felt like I was riding well once I put the pieces together. I feel in tune
with the RM-Z250. Every race has been about the start. I’m getting a good jump, but we are going to work
on some details. Contrary to popular belief, I’m still in this thing. I can’t wait for next weekend.”
In premier 450SX Class action, JGRMX’s Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing showed the way
with veteran Weston Peick racing to his fourth straight top-six showing. Consistency has been Peick’s
calling card this season and his sixth-place effort moved him up one spot, from fifth to fourth, in points.
Peick’s JGRMX teammates Malcom Stewart and Justin Bogle followed him to the checkers where
Stewart was scored 13th and Bogle was credited with 17th. Round 4 marked Bogle’s return to Monster
Energy Supercross after the Cushing, Okla., rider was sidelined for the first three rounds after suffering a
preseason injury.

“I’m happy to say that everyone on the team continues to improve,” commented Team Manager Jeremy
Albrecht. “Malcolm had a really great heat race. I was excited to see how well he rode. Weston doesn’t
qualify very well, but his racing has been great. He saved his best for the main. Every week he’s getting
closer to finishing on the podium. Hill rode with aggression and put in a better result. He had a problem
with his clutch when he and Christian Craig came together, but that’s racing. Nicoletti was starting to feel
better, but he had a minor crash in the main. Glendale was Bogle’s first race back. He didn’t have any
crashes, and everything went well. He will get better as the series goes on.”
